Lily Blough from Maple City Michigan will be riding RahRahFlitBoomBah AKA Glory they qualified at Iosco Fairgrounds, Hale Mi Arena in Michigan for the 2025 Best of the Best!
What I love most about my horse is, What I love most about Glory is how she sweet she is. She’s always looking for a treat or attention from whoever is around her. This makes her so easy to be around, especially at barn with lesson kids running around.
How many times have you qualified for the Best of the Best? I have qualified for Youth BOTB twice before in 2023 and 2024 with my older horse WhoGivsAFlit (Dallas). But this is my first year qualifying with Glory.
Tell us what you love about your farm or boarding days with your horses, I board my horses at Cold Spring Farm in Maple City, MI and I absolutely love it. The horses are cared for so well by the owners (and my trainers) Haylee Fisher and Rachel Rice. They have helped me immensely and I could never be where I am today without them which I’m so grateful for. Along with them, the community at the barn is uplifting and always fun. My friends at the barn (such as Bella, Eva, Violet, and Chris) are all so talented and make the experience at Cold Spring Farm amazing.
What is your biggest win as a rider? My biggest win as a rider so far would honestly getting this far with Glory. Glory is the first ever horse I’ve ever “broken out” and I couldn’t have imagined I could have gotten her to this level at only 6 (with the help of many people).
Who is the person who made you the rider you are today? One person that made me the rider I am today is my trainer, Haylee Fisher. She has gave me lessons since I was 11 and has essentially taught me everything that I know. Haylee has given me so many opportunities from riding amazing horses to taking me to super shows. She has not only taught me so much about riding, Haylee has also taught me how to stay humble and kind in a sport that isn’t always the most positive. Our bond goes beyond horses, Haylee and I (and everyone at Cold Spring Farm) have became family and love each other as such.
