Jessa Stringfellow won Angola in the cold and rain and King runs hard every time!

Jessa Stringfellow & “King” — Smoke Em If Ya Got Em
Albion, IN · Qualified at Steuben County Fairgrounds

“I love his heart and willingness to run hard every time, no matter the conditions or environment. He’s very quirky and has a goofy personality. I can usually tell what he’s going to do before he does it.”

This is Jessa Stringfellow’s first time qualifying. Her most exciting win came at Angola, in the cold and the rain, against a big field. She keeps two horses at her barn and likes to stay in a routine — feed, turnout, and a riding schedule.

Her mom helped her at a young age, and over the years she’s worked to learn from those doing it best. A mare named Dee played a big role early on, but King is the one who made her the rider she is: “He’s made me understand why certain techniques are important, and isn’t the forgiving kind when I make an error.”

Welcome to the Best of the Best, Jessa.
