What is the name of your horse? The Grey Goose
When and Where did you qualify for the BOTB?
The Race was on 4/26/14 and held at Lima, OH
What are the bloodlines of your horse? Grandson of Easily Smashed. Bedunio, Easy Jet, and Profit Plan are also on his papers.
Can you name one or more people who inspire your riding? The child standing on the fence is who inspires me. That child makes me want to do better, to be better, and to give them something to look forward to. I want to give them a dream, a goal, something that will then make them a better person in the future.
What is your best memory of you and your horse as a team?
Winning our first Canadian rodeo. We were last to run and the announcer made it special. You always want to be “that girl” that comes in and lays one down. For that one moment, Goose gave me that dream.
What is your favorite arena and why is it the one you like the most?
WB Ranch. It is an amazing facility and the people have helped me through out the years to keep my horses ready to run.
How long have you had the horse you qualified on?
Purchased as a team roping horse last Thanksgiving. We are still learning each other.
Do you have a favorite song you like to hear before you enter the alley way to make a run?
Get out of my dreams, get into my car by Billy Ocean. Simply because Goose seemed to step out of my dreams and it has been one hell of a ride ever since.
