Where did you and On The money Meyers qualify? BOTB slot race 2016, Bucking Nightmare 2016, and qualified at Crazy Woman Ranch with both Money and Gunner.
Tell us a little about your horse: Money is and will always be “Baby Money”. She was born and raised at our family barn and trained by the one and only Joanne Schneider… MY MOM! Money definitely isn’t all sugar and has plenty of spice, but she has a huge spot in my heart for many reasons. When she feels like it she is a good girl Money and an amazing barrel horse and does take us to the top at many shows. What’s even more is the bond we have together! I was only around 10 when she was born. I told mom and dad right off the bat that this is the one I want! We got to grow up with each other. I spent countless hours playing with that crazy filly even when I was told not to because she was temperamental, silly, and could hurt me…somethings never change! I didn’t see the danger and played with her and even rode her up and down our little barn alleyways starting to break her! Shes a best friend to me, wild child or not and I love her anyway. Throughout the years there has been many ups and downs, more good than bad though! Last year was my first time at BOTB and she blessed us with 3rd in the slot race and placed in the 1D every run Friday through Sunday! I am so excited to get the opportunity to run her up the chute for the BOTB slot race again this year!
Everyone has a favorite place to run, tell us what yours is: Money and I have comfort arenas like most others! Our top 3 picks for arenas that we have clicked and won the most are Simmons, Buckhorn, and Garwood ! We currently hold the arena record at Garwood and for the past year we have been nipping the heels of Buckhorn’s 7 year strong arena record by just a few hundredths of a second. Money and I have only ran two different times at Springfield and we’re loving it so far!
Each year we all love to attend a favorite show, what is yours? Well the BOTB show in Springfield Ohio of course!! My friends, family, husband, and I look forward to it all year?„
