Meet Brooke Klinger from Fredon, NJ
Here is a little more about Brooke and Brooke Klinger who will be running at the BOTB in August.
Where did you and Brooke Klinger qualify? We qualified in West Virginia at the West Virginia Barrel Futurity in June.
Tell us a little about your horse: Dancer is a 14 y.o Quarter Horse. He is a sorrel that stands about 16hh. We’ve had him for 4 years. He is a horse that is always in your pocket and always wants to know what your doing.
Everyone has a favorite place to run, tell us what yours is: My favorite arena is the arena in Winfield, West Virginia. I’ve only been there once but I love how it’s opened on the sides but covered. It’s a nice sized arena.
Each year we all love to attend a favorite show, what is yours? My favorite show to attend is the Rebel Soule because there’s a lot of things going on and there is poles! Not a lot of shows by us hold a pole bending class and that’s Dancers favorite. There is many new people to meet as well.
Give us a little more insight about you and your horse: Someone who inspires me is my trainer Jim Tenhoeve. He recently passed away in the beginning of February. He taught me everything I know and has gave me so many opportunities that have made me the rider I am today. I wouldn’t be where I am without him. I know he’s with us every run! Without the support of my parents I would be no where. I can’t thank them enough for the support they give me and driving me to all the barrel races.
