Roxanne has qualified twice for barrels, and this is her first pole qualification. Her biggest win, in her own words: “That Saucy allows me to ride her. Haha.”
It’s an exciting year at home — the Zooks are in their first year of standing a stallion at stud. Her mom is the one who got her into riding, of course. And when asked which horse made her the rider she is, Roxanne wouldn’t pick just one: “I don’t think it’s one in particular — they have all taught me something!”
