This is only Kinsleigh Krafft’s second year barrel racing, and her biggest win so far is qualifying for the Best of the Best.
She loves Famous for his personality above all — sweet, honest, always wanting to do his best, and a lot of fun to ride. He lives right on the family farm, so they get plenty of time together and he gets time off in the pasture.
Her mom is the one who encourages her every ride — feeding, tacking up, giving advice, and praying before each run. Her dad is right there too, hauling her and cheering from the sidelines. And the horse who taught her to ride is Yankee, a 28-year-old Missouri Fox Trotter now teaching other kids at a friend’s lesson barn.
Kinsleigh’s message: “Have fun and good luck to all the other BOTB qualifiers! I would like to thank God for giving me the opportunity to do what I love and keeping us safe every run we make!”
