Party Girl was trained by Piper Kiphart’s mother, Valerie — “she’s so much fun to run and has such a big goofy personality. I am so thankful I get to steal her for a few runs here and there!”
Piper has been qualified for the Best of the Best every year since 2019, with a 3rd in the FNL in 2022 on LSF Down Home Tuxedo and a 3rd in the Pee Wee slot race in 2023 on Aprils Infamous Fire. She’s also run a 14.8 at Crazy Woman Ranch — the third-fastest time ever recorded there.
Home is around 28 horses, and Piper wouldn’t have it any other way: “I get to do it with my family and we all get to enjoy each other’s accomplishments.” Her mom is the reason she’s here — “she’s the one who pushes me to be better, tells me the good about a bad run, tightens my saddle and walks me in. Without her there wouldn’t be a me.”
And her heart horse Cinderella (Aprils Infamous Fire) taught her the biggest lesson of all: “how fast something can be taken away from you, and never to take anything for granted.”
