Here is a little more about Amelia and I’m A Bit Rusty who will be running at the BOTB in August.
Where did you and I’m A Bit Rusty qualify? Rusty and I qualified for the BOTB in Clinton, Ontario at the Ontario Barrel Racing Association finals, winning the Open 4D.
Tell us a little about your horse: I’m A Bit Rusty, a.k.a Rusty is an exceptional athlete. He has a true love for the sport of barrel racing.
Everyone has a favorite place to run, tell us what yours is: Rusty and I love big show pens. The bigger the barrel pattern, the longer we get to have fun.
Each year we all love to attend a favorite show, what is yours? Rusty and I’s favorite show to attend is at our home pen in Simcoe, Ontario. Rusty and I spent years there growing as a team. Returning reminds me of great memories and of all of Rusty and I’s hard work.
Give us a little more insight about you and your horse: The person who inspires me the most is my mother. She has always worked hard to support our family no matter the circumstances. She is my greatest supporter and is the reason I am able to pursue my goals in the sport of barrel racing.
