“I love that she gives it her all.” That’s Kortney Bennett on her mare Boujee — and it’s the same mare she credits with teaching her just as much about this sport as anyone.
This is Kortney’s first time qualifying. She and her family bought their farm from her father-in-law, and their horses have 20 acres to roam. Her proudest run so far was placing runner-up at the Sally Williams Kuipers memorial show — “love and miss that woman.”
She credits David and Karey Williams with shaping her as a rider: the patience, the guidance, the hours in the arena, and the cheering at the gate.
