Cheyenne Garrison & “Zoey” — Ought To Be Flyn

This is Cheyenne Garrison’s third BOTB qualification, and her first two came in Pee Wee barrels on ALEESSPECIALLEO — 5th in the 2021 Pee Wee slot race, and 2022 Pee Wee slot race champions.
This year it’s Zoey, and it’s in pole bending. “We worked really hard to get there together,” Cheyenne says. “I’m so lucky that she’s my partner.” The horses live at home, where the family bales their own alfalfa, so caring for them is something they all do together.
She couldn’t name just one person: Ken and Sierra Baker, who worked with her when she stepped up to a faster horse, plus her mom, dad and grandma who’ve been at every practice and every show. And Leo is the horse who built her confidence — quirky, kept her on her toes, and taught her to be patient and never give up.
