Payton Kiphart believes this is her 10th time qualifying for the Best of the Best — and this one is extra special. She and her family bred and raised Wispa themselves, and the mare was born on Pap’s birthday.
Her biggest win to date: taking the redemption round at NBHA Youth Worlds out of 824 horses. She loves that she gets to ride with her family every single day, and she can’t name just one person who made her the rider she is — it’s her parents along with Meem and Pap. The horse who did it was Seis So Sweet, “Six.”
