Jagger is an all-arounder, and Jaclynn O’Connor loves that about him: “He will lay down a killer showmanship pattern and then run a 20-second pole pattern!” Kind, sensitive, knows his job, and loves to run.
Jagger has qualified for the Best of the Best in both poles and barrels, and it was an outstanding pole run last year that punched this year’s ticket. Jaclynn also made the Jr Patriot pole finals in both 15U and 19U.
She and her horses are at a small boarding barn five minutes from home with an indoor arena, so she can ride all year long. Her mom is her biggest cheerleader and pushes her to her limits. And Jazzy — the mare who tested her every step of the way — is the horse who made her.
