It is The SCHMIDTHORST PAVILLION to be exact, located in Lima Ohio. This is at the Allen County Fair Grounds and it is a nice place to show. It is right off of I-75 easy place to get to and lots of commerce in the area to enjoy after the show. The Arena is a large covered arena with a huge warm up area and plenty of places to warm up your horse outside the arena.
The first show went well and it was the first show that Brad Hoy, the fair board manager ever put on. The ground was a little shaky to start and needed to get a few kinks worked out but all in all they improved as the weekend went on. The chute area needed a little work and that will be changed this weekend as well. Safety First! This weekend there will be $1500 in the Open with lots of other added money.
The pattern is large and with it being an open pen it allows your horses to open up and run free. The ground is more of a sandy texture with dirt.
